Street Tension

This series focuses on arresting close-ups of people in the public spaces of the DMV, highlighting the tension and concern that is visible on so many peoples' expressions. Although this edgy mood is common and not difficult to find on the streets, it would be incorrect to say it is universal -- there are many happy people on the streets as well !
